This policy explains what we do with the personal details you give us through this website. M8 Tyres & MOT Centre is run by M8 Tyres and MOT Centre Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17295368). We are the data controller for those details. What we collect

• Quote and contact form: your name, phone number, email address, address, the service you need and your message.
• Booking and tyre requests: your name, mobile number, vehicle registration, vehicle details, and the day and service you ask for.
• Vehicle lookups: the registration you type in, so we can show tyre sizes and vehicle details.

We don't ask for payment details on this website.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, arrange and carry out the work you ask for, and keep a record of it. Our lawful basis is that you've asked us to do something for you (steps before a contract), and our legitimate interest in running the garage. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing. If you ask for a reminder, we'll only use your details to send that reminder.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted companies to run the website. They only handle your details on our behalf:

• AG Sellers Ltd, who build and look after this website.
• Cloudflare, who host the website.
• Brevo, who deliver the booking and enquiry emails to us.
• VehicleMatic, who provide the vehicle and tyre data for registration lookups (they receive the registration only).
• Google Fonts, which serves the website's fonts (your browser sends your IP address to Google to load them).

Some of these companies may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for up to 2 years so we can deal with follow-up questions and keep job records, then delete them. Records we must keep by law (for example, for tax) are kept for as long as the law requires.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Call us on 0161 834 8483. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
